Reinterpretation of a classic: Like 100 years ago, this colorless furniture wax is made up of a mixture of natural carnauba and beeswax. What is contemporary, however, is the complete absence of terpenes, silicones and VOCs. This makes the “OLI-NATURA furniture wax” a new interpretation of a real classic.
The rich furniture wax nourishes and cares for the wood. It creates a velvety-soft feel and a patina that deepens over time. It not only makes the surface water-repellent, but also prevents dirt from penetrating the wood. The wax is applied in circular movements with a soft cloth and then polished.
It is suitable for all types of wood and is primarily used for furniture care or initial treatment. The wax has a pleasantly subtle scent.
The "OLI-NATURA furniture wax" is produced using traditional craftsmanship processes from 100% real beeswax and carnauba wax and other proven raw materials. The use of fragrances (terpenes), preservatives, formaldehydes, aromatics and cobalt salts is deliberately avoided.
The wax is VOC-free and complies with DIN EN 71-3 (safety of toys) and DIN 53160 (fastness to saliva and sweat).
Care & Cleaning
To ensure that the waxed piece of furniture does not lose its charm, it must be maintained and cleaned regularly. Dust and stuck-on dirt can be easily wiped away with a dry or slightly damp, but never wet, cloth.
The surface should be waxed from time to time. How regularly the wooden surface needs to be cared for depends on various factors: What wood is the piece of furniture made of? How frequently is it used? What strain is it exposed to?
Good indications that the surface needs care are: if the shine disappears, the water resistance decreases or the surface feels dry. New furniture wax should then be applied.
