Jatoba also known as Brazilian Cherry is a light orangish brown to a darker reddish brown, colour becomes darker when exposed to light. It has an interlocked grain with a medium to coarse grain. Jatoba is very durable and is resistant to termites and other insects. Most common reactions include skin irritation. Jatoba is used for cabinetry, turning objects and tool handles.
