Verum's Bronze cast body and turned sustainably-sourced Bubinga infill handled spokeshaves are a joy to use. The shallow curved sole was traditionally used for shaving or planing wagon wheel hubs. The short 23mm convex ground sole is perfect for internal curved work, getting into radii the flat version cannot reach. Produces final accurate shaping whilst removing bandsaw or rasp marks on bows, chair components, legs, spindles and oars. The narrow mouth opening reduces tear out and the honed T10 blade slices through the timbers leaving a perfect un-chattered finish and a smile on your face!
