Ole & Wachse's Scandic Oil “For Furniture” is inspired by the Scandinavian living style. A VOC-free raw wood effect oil that protects light wood “as if invisible” and does not show in the pores. This is made possible by vegetable oils in a watery emulsion, which are refined in a complex process. There is also a fine pinch of light-stable white pigments that round off the raw wood effect and offer UV protection.

There is now an entire Scandic Oil family and each Scandic Oil has its individual strengths. This Scandic Oil “For Furniture” is slightly more viscous and thixotropic than its siblings “CLASSIC” or “MANUFAKTUM”. This makes it easier to paint or spray and stands well on vertical surfaces. Two generous applications of oil are recommended. After the first application of oil, smoothing follows to cut the wood fibers, which are caused by the water content in the oil. For a matt look, the final application of oil is best polished with a beige polishing pad.

The mild-odor Scandic Oil “For Furniture” is particularly suitable for living room furniture and stairs made of softwood and hardwood such as oak, silver fir, spruce or ash. The quick drying enables surface treatment within a day. The natural color of the wood is hardly deepened and looks untreated and freshly sanded. It was developed for people who like to feel “pure wood” and live a healthy lifestyle.

Oil-soaked rags and pads do not tend to self-ignite and tools can be rinsed with water.
