The switchbox/controller is magnetic, allowing you to position it anywhere on the machine bed for convenience.

The headstock swivels for better access when turning bowls or hollow forms, and slides along the bed for turning off the end. Headstock adjustments are easy and tool free. The tailstock has plenty of ram travel, the graduated barrel helps when drilling to a required depth. Overall the lathe is cast iron construction with well ground surfaces for smooth operation.
