We will have live demos throughout the day in Woodturning, Carving, Jointing, Pyrography (Woodburning), Tool Sharpening, Scrollsaw work & more! Come meet & talk to the experts in store, see what's new and enjoy the demonstrations...
From Robert Sorby Tools, Clive Brooks will be sharing his vast knowledge as he turns out some pieces with this premium range of Sheffield made tooling and accessories!
We are delighted to welcome Emma Cooke, The Tiny Turner to the store for the first time. An experienced turner Emma combines a range of skills & art to produce uniquely creative pieces.
Emma's demonstrations are upstairs at 10.15am to 12.15pm and 1.45pm to 3.45pm.
Woodcarving demonstrations will be provided by Adrain Finlay. Carving & teaching for over thirty years Adrian has the experience to help you get started in this craft.
Joining us from Axminster Tools, James Peer will be presenting their innovative UJK range. James will be using items from the range including the PARF system, dovetail jig and an exciting new arrival to aid him making boxes.
Tool Sharpening tips and advice will be provided by our own Noel. Using the Veritas Honing guides and DMT diamond stones you'll be guided to a perfect edge.
(Friday Only) Festool's, Vincent Howard will be demonstrating the range in our recently refurbished Festool area. He'll show off the much hyped CYS SYS 50 cordless tablesaw now available in store along with other Festool favourites like the Domino DF500 jointing machine and range of plunge saws.
(Saturday Only) Pyrography artist & teacher Paula Gormley will be firing up the Peter Child Artist Machines to give you inspiration & the opportunity to sit & have a go!
(Saturday Only) Woodworker John Kane will be on the scroll saw showing us how to cut some simple & striking gifts in different woods.
Tea & Coffee will be available throughout the day. The Carpentry Store, is located in Naas, Co. Kildare W91XH68.
