Woodwork, Hobby & Craft Fair 2016

We would like to invite you to join us at this year's Woodwork, Hobby & Craft Fair. It starts at 2pm on Friday 4th November until 8pm and again on Saturday 5th November 10am - 5pm in The Carpentry Store, Naas.

Over the two days we have live demonstrations, clinics and talks. There will be experts on hand to answer questions and inform you of the latest in the woodworking world. No matter your area of interest we are sure to have it covered with Woodturning, Woodcarving, Wood Finishing, Pyrography, Routing, Cabinetry, Machinery, Hand and Power tools.

On Friday only meet:

Les Thorne

Les is a woodturner who has spent many years perfecting his craft. In 2001 he was accepted onto the Register of Professional Turners. He will be demonstrating some woodturning projects and will also be discussing how to achieve a wide range of finishes using Chestnut Products.

Barry McKenna

Barry is from Eclipse and will be on hand to discuss their Clamps, Vices and the wide range of handsaws.

John Mangan

John will be showing us how to add marquetry to our projects. John has many years experience instructing students and does regular demonstrations for us in-store.

Gintaras Malinauskas

Gintaras is an avid woodworker and will be demonstrating our range of Saburrtooth. These rotary tools feature long-lasting, razor-sharp carbide cutting teeth arranged into a unique open pattern to resist loading. They are suitable for your carving, grinding, cutting and machining needs.

We have much, much more like… Meet Damien from Festool, See Dan & Paddy making Christmas decorations and pens, The Midlands Chapter of the Irish Woodturners’ Guild giving you Christmas Gift Ideas and not forgetting our Wooden toys and junior woodworking projects section. There are plenty of reasons for you to come along and join in the fun.

Please note that our store will close at 1pm on Thursday 3rd November to facilitate the set up of our fair. The fair starts at 2pm on Friday 4th November. The list of demonstrators may change. Please be aware of parking restrictions in the business park during peak times 1pm – 5pm on Friday. We will endeavour to guide you to a space.
