We hope you and your family are safe & well and we want to thank you for your continued support and custom over the past number of weeks and months.
We are glad to inform you The Carpentry Store is open but from Monday 10th August you MUST Wear A Mask or suitable face covering if you wish to visit the store.
We have made a number of changes to the way we conduct our day-to-day business. New infrastructure and procedures have been put in place to protect the health & safety of our customers, employees & visitors. Some of the new measures include revised operating hours, Perspex screens at counters & limited numbers in store. Please read the guidelines set out below so you know what to expect & consider before calling to the store during this initial re-opening phase.

8.30am – 5.30pm Closed for Lunch 1.00 pm - 1.30pm
Last entry is 5.15pm
Saturday
9am – 1pm
Our Cutting Service will NOT resume on 10th August... we will advise of a restart date in due course. In preparation for the resumption of this service we recommend that any requests placed prior to lockdown be re-confirmed by emailing sales@thecarpentrystore.com
Click & Collect, Phone & Email Orders
The Click & Collect option on our website has now re-opened.
Orders can also be rang through to 045-883088 (for collection or delivery)
Orders can be emailed to sales@thecarpentrystore.com (for collection or delivery)
We encourage you, where possible to use these options to avoid delays and the need to queue.
Collections are to be made from the rear of our building at a dedicated zone. You will receive a phone call/email confirming your order is ready. Please DO NOT travel to the store until you receive this confirmation.
While we will endeavour to enable same day collection this may not be possible in some cases.
Visiting The Store.
YOU MUST WEAR A MASK
A limit of SIX customers will be allowed in the main store at any time.
A maximum of THREE people can queue outside our store. Please wait at your car & NOT on the road if there are already three people queuing.
Your time in store will be limited to 15 minutes so come prepared with a list, browsing cannot be permitted at this time.
A hand sanitisation station is located inside the door and customers must use it both entering & leaving the store.
Social distancing must be strictly adhered to. Two meter zones have been marked both inside & outside the store - One person per zone!
Payment to be made by card where possible please - Contactless limit has been increased to €50.
If you intend purchasing timber please bring your own measuring tape.
Do not handle items you do not intend to purchase.
Demonstration tools & products have been removed from display.
Please bear in mind during this initial period we will not be in a position to offer product advice in store. If you need help with product selection you should email or phone in your request. You will receive a call back when a member of staff is available. We cannot give a set time on this at present.
Staff will be wearing necessary PPE.
While we appreciate that some of these measures may look uninviting, a cautious start is necessary for all our health, safety & peace of mind. We will review & update them as necessary. You can still expect familiar faces & a warm welcome at The Carpentry Store.
