Beginners One Day Woodturning

Time: 9.30am – 4.00pm
Details:
This course with Les Thorne will give you tips on your tooling and techniques to take your turning to the next level. Les will past on his knowledge to help you achieve your goals and he will give practical examples for you to follow.
You will have use of all our classroom equipment & turning tools. Timber & mechanisms required will also be provided. A light meal & refreshments are included.
Course places are limited.
Your instructor for the course is Les Thorne. Les has been involved in the wood industry for the majority of his life. First as a saw doctor before changing full time to woodturning in 1998. He is a member of the Register of Professional Woodturners UK since 2001 & runs a successful turning business “No Turing Back” taking commissions, production runs & classes. Les is a much sought after teacher & demonstrator both in Europe & America and has demonstrated at The Carpentry Store on previous occasions.
